Most people visiting the Netherlands will spend some time in Amsterdam.
So, while you're here, why not use the opportunity to make a private city walk of a couple of hours. A great starter of your visit, that will probably give the rest of your stay a whole new perspective.
During an history walk, a broad picture of the history of Holland in the last 1000 years will be painted, focussed on what you see around you. In the same time, as always with my tours, stories of people who witnessed history.

A walk in Amsterdam can very well be combined with a visit to the nearby countryside, to make your introduction to history and culture of the Netherlands complete. Classic Holland scenery, and small fortified towns.
The most practical way to move around is on a bicycle, but a walk is also possible.
With the train station of Weesp as an ideal starting point, only a 15 minutes train ride from Amsterdam Central.
