As a graduate of Amsterdam School of the Arts, with a life long passion for history, I always liked to tell colleagues and guests about the amazing past of this part of the world. With many aspects being pretty unknown, also for the Dutch by the way. In "Why this website", is explained how I started in this line of work. Began by making a simple website so I could share my passion with a wider audience. To my amazement, the magic of the internet developed its own momentum.
People reacting, asking for broader activities than I first considered possible.
In short, what began as a small-scale side-line turned into a full time job within a few years. Research and writing is now the main thing. And I love it !
Still do tours as well, because I simply like sharing knowledge and meeting people. All tours personalized, with content always changing.
No routine. I wouldn't like that.
